Jerusalem, 17 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Sofia (BTA) – Due to a scuffle between deputies in the Bulgarian parliament’s plenary hall, the Speaker of the National Assembly Raya Nazaryan declared a recess until 11:00. The cameras showed an exchange of remarks and a physical clash between Gunay Daloolu from “DPS-New Beginning” and Radostin Vassilev from “Moral, Unity, Honor.”
Vassilev kicked Daloolu in the chest, who approached his seat, and then reached out with his fist.
Meanwhile, Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov was speaking from the podium. He interrupted his speech to draw the attention of the chairperson of the meeting that a fight had started in the hall.
Previously, the Minister of Energy requested to provide answers to questions from “Continuing Change – Democratic Bulgaria” (PP-DB) about the project for units 7 and 8 of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant. Earlier, PP-DB proposed a hearing on the topic, but their request was not accepted.
