Bulgarian Tennis Player Tomova Wins Third Title in 2023

Jerusalem, 26 November, 2023 (TPS) -- Bulgaria’s highest ranked female tennis player Viktoriya Tomova secured her third title of the season after winning 7-5 6-3 against world No. 101 Jaqueline Cristian in the final of the ITF tournament in Valencia with a prize pool of USD 100,000. That is the eight title of her career.

The Romanian managed to get to 5-5 in the first set after trailing 1-4 but Tomova managed to make another break and to close it out. The Bulgarian was in control for the remaining of the final.

Tomova completed the tournament without a single lost set and will move to No. 79 in the world rankings on Monday.
