Bulgaria’s PM Donev Meets Israel Teachers’ Union Secretary General Yaffa Ben-David

The benefits of deepening cooperation between Bulgaria and Israel in the field of education were the main topic of the meeting of caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev with the Secretary General of the Israel Teachers’ Union Yaffa Ben-David, the Council of Ministers’ press center said Thursday. During their talks here the two discussed an educational project launched on Thursday, which is the largest in the history of bilateral relations between the two countries and which will enable the exchange of experience between a considerable number of Bulgarian and Israeli teachers.

Donev gave his support to the project and expressed confidence that it will make a major contribution to the development of Bulgarian-Israeli relations in the field of education, which have traditionally been very good and fruitful. Donev congratulated Ben-David for her great commitment to education issues and stressed that for Bulgaria policies in this area are also a national priority.
