COVID-19: Armenia Reports 240 New Cases, 644 Recoveries in One Day

Jerusalem, 21 December, 2020 (TPS) -- YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS – 240 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Armenia in the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 154,065, the ministry of healthcare said today.

644 more patients have recovered in one day. The total number of recoveries has reached 133,176.

1009 tests were conducted in the past one day.

26 more patients have died, raising the death toll to 2656.

The number of active cases is 17,579.

The number of patients who had coronavirus but died from other diseases has reached 654 (2 new such cases).
