Cyprus MFA: Bibas Killing “Abhorrent And Unthinkably Horrific”
Jerusalem, 22 February, 2025 (TPS-IL) --
The Foreign Ministry of Cyprus issued a strong statement today condemning the “abhorrent killing of the Bibas children while being held hostages by Hamas”, calling the crime “unthinkably horrific”.
The Cyprus MFA also describes “as condemnable and appalling the way the remains of killed hostages were treated and handed over”.
“We call on the full implementation of the ceasefire-hostage deal, including the return of all hostages in a dignified manner”, the statement concludes.
