We are deepening relations with North Macedonia, but we will not tolerate any incomplete alignment and improper interpretation of what has been agreed, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said during a debate in parliament on Greece’s 2020 budget, MIA’s Athens correspondent reports.

Dendias tackled all aspects of Greek foreign policy, while in terms of the Balkans he noted that Greece was re-positioning itself as a strong and stable European country, and a pillar of stability.

“We support the integration perspective of the Western Balkan countries, as the main axis of our policy. We are deepening relations with North Macedonia, as part of mutually beneficial cooperation, but having clearly established that we will not tolerate any incomplete alignment and improper interpretation of what has been agreed,” the Greek FM pointed out.
