FM Osmani Receives Copies of Credentials of Ambassadors of Georgia, Kazakhstan to North Macedonia

Jerusalem, 10 December, 2020 (TPS) -- Skopje, 9 December 2020 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani received on Wednesday the copies of credentials of newly appointed Ambassador of Georgia Tamuna Liluashvili with residence in Sofia and of Ambassador of Kazakhstan with residence to Budapest, Zhanibek Abdrashov to North Macedonia.

Osmani, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release, wished Liluashvili and Abdrashov success in their posts, voicing satisfaction with the current development of relations with the two countries based on traditional friendship and mutual understanding.

“The appointment of Georgia’s first non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of North Macedonia, following the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2019, is a real step for further deepening of friendly relations between the two countries,” Osmani said.

Osmani also added that the bilateral relations between North Macedonia and Kazakhstan will also continue to develop especially in intensifying the economic cooperation.

Ambassadors Liluashvili and Abdrashov thanked for the warm reception and stressed that Georgia and Kazakhstan are ready for further development of bilateral relations with the Republic of North Macedonia, based on mutual respect and interest in several areas, the press release added.
