Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix Begins

Jerusalem, 21 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Baku (AZERTAC) – The main race of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has started in Baku.

AZERTAC reports that 10 teams, each consisting of two pilots, are competing in the competition.

The drivers will complete 51 laps of the Baku City Circuit in two hours to determine the winner.

The best result in yesterday’s qualifying round was achieved by Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. Carlos Sainz, who drove for Williams, took second place, and Liam Lawson, who drove for Racing Bulls, took third place.

Based on the results of this round, the drivers’ line-up for the main race was determined.
