French Supreme Court Delegation Visits Israel Supreme Court for a Joint Hearing Day

Jerusalem, 31 October, 2021 (TPS) -- A delegation of judges from the French Supreme Court, led by Vice President of the State Council Mr. Bruno Lesser, visited the Supreme Court of Israel in Jerusalem on Sunday, October 31, for a joint hearing with Israeli Supreme Court justices. The meeting was chaired by Israel Supreme Court President Esther Hayut.

The judges discussed a number of key issues, including how to deal with legal issues in the Corona era, environmental law, and the implementation of court decisions.

During the visit, the French delegation toured the Supreme Court building and held a joint dinner with the participation of the French Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Eric Danon.
