Jerusalem, 14 November, 2022 (TPS) -- Israeli security forces arrested nine Palestinians in counter-terror raids across Judea and Samaria on Sunday night.

In a joint operation, the IDF, the Shin Bet and Border Police arrested three wanted persons in the village of Anta north of Jerusalem and another wanted person in the town of Beitunia, near Ramallah.

During the operation in Beitunia, an IDF force spotted a suspicious vehicle approaching in its direction. The force signaled the driver of the vehicle to stop, but he accelerated towards the force. In response, the force fired at the vehicle.

At the same time, Israeli forces in Halhul, near Hebron, arrested three wanted persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activity.

The overnight raids were part of Israel’s months-long Operation Wave Breaker. Near-nightly security operations have foiled hundreds of Palestinian terror attacks. The operation was launched following a spate of deadly Palestinian terror attacks in the spring.
