International Alpine Skiers Compete at Azerbaijan Open Slalom Finals
Jerusalem, 11 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- The competitions of the third day of the “Azerbaijan Open” international alpine skiing tournament were held in accordance with the FIS calendar, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation and the “Shahdag” Tourism Center.
On the final day of the tournament, athletes competed for first place in the alpine skiing slalom category.
According to the results of the competition, Kazakh athlete Ksenia Brezhnaya took first place, another representative of this country, Dalel Talkunova, took second place, and Uzbek skier Ksenia Grigoreva took third place.
Twenty-five female athletes from various age categories, including Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovenia, Georgia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Nepal, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, participated in the “Azerbaijan Open” tournament.
Alpine skier Anastasia Papatoma represented Azerbaijan.
