International Folklore Festival Opens in Kyustendil

Jerusalem, 25 July, 2024 (TPS-IL) -- KYUSTENDIL, WESTERN BULGARIA (BTA)

The 20th edition of the Srebarna Pafta International Folklore Festival is taking place in Kyustendil from July 25 to July 28, said the organizers on Thursday.

The festival will be opened with a traditional parade of the participants in the city center. Folklore ensembles, dance and singing groups from Bulgaria, Serbia, Bolivia, Moldova and Kazakhstan will participate in the festival, which has been preserving and spreading the folklore traditions of the world for 20 years.

The festival is organized by the Pautalia – 2008 community center and Kyustendil Municipality.
