Jerusalem, 20 October, 2020 (TPS) -- Skopje, 20 October 2020 (MIA) — Skopje’s fourth Investigative Film Festival, which will run through Oct. 25, will offer streams of films for free and workshops on building better communication strategies for the common good, science-based health reporting, and solutions journalism.

The topic of this year’s IFF is solidarity. ‘Coronation’ (2020), a documentary about the coronavirus in Wuhan, will open the festival, and the social networking docudrama ‘The Social Dilemma’ (2020) will be streamed on the last day.

Films will be made available via the Platform for Investigative Journalism and Analysis PINA. The film selection includes ‘The Cave’ (2019), ‘My Darling Supermarket’ (2019), ‘Amazonia: The Awakening of Florestania’ (2019), ‘Meet the Censors’ (2020), and ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much’ (2020).

The festival will also offer online discussions on writing effective news stories, solutions-oriented mobile journalism, and reporting during a pandemic.
