Israel, UAE are Gold Sponsors of International Astronautical Congress in Baku

The Israel Aerospace Industry (IAI) and the United Arab Emirates’ Muhammed Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC) have been announced as gold sponsors of the 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2023) to be held in Baku on October 2-6 this year.

AZERTAC reports that companies wishing to act as sponsors at the 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2023) must register by September 10. Registration for participation in the event will end in 3 weeks. 14 media organizations have already registered to cover the event. Currently, 25 companies are officially sponsoring the 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2023) to be held in Baku.

It should be noted that Israel Aerospace Industries, Israel’s main aerospace and aviation manufacturer and supplier in both the military and civilian sectors, has 16,000 employees. All shares of IAI belong to the State of Israel. IAI is involved in the manufacture and repair of civil aircraft, fighter aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missiles, and various avionics.

Although the main focus of IAI is the aviation and space industry, the company is also engaged in the production of various military products for the land and naval forces. Although these products are made especially to meet the needs of the Israeli Armed Forces, they are also exported to some foreign countries.

Founded in 2006, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC) is one of the UAE’s leading institutions supporting research and development in the ICT sector.

Muhammed Bin Rashid Space Center operates on the basis of the National Space Program of the UAE. The center builds and operates earth observation satellites and offers imaging and data analysis services to customers around the world.
