Israeli and Romanian News Agencies Sign MOU
Jerusalem, 2 March, 2021 (TPS) -- The Israeli News Agency TPS is very pleased to announce the signing of a professional cooperation partnership with the Romanian News Agency, AGERPRES.
This is the fourth such signing in the past year for the Israeli based agency, joining partnerships signed recently with news agencies in Macedonia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. These recent agreements have TPS now partnered with over 60 media outlets in Israel and around the world.
AGERPRES is the oldest Romanian news agency, and the first autonomous agency in Romania. It offers its news services to hundreds of readers and clients in Romanian, English and Hungarian.
TPS News Agency was founded a decade ago and quickly became a significant player in the area of international media. This is largely due to its unique model of “on the scene” citizen journalism, based on over 300 volunteers spread across the country providing immediate updates and visuals to the agency’s news desk.
TPS CEO Amotz Eyal said that “the agreements with international media outlets allow greater exposure to events happening in Israel that have a direct impact on the lives of their readers and followers. It expands their understanding of events and up to the minute details of breaking news.”
Claudia Victoria Nicolae, General Director of Romanian National News Agency AGERPRES said, “AGERPRES is honored by the initiation of the collaboration with TPS Israel and I am convinced that it will be a mutually beneficial and long-term partnership. I would also like to assure you of my best intentions in this collaboration.”
