Israeli Program Trains Azerbaijani Entrepreneurs

From the current year, the subject of entrepreneurship will be taught on a pilot basis in several Azerbaijani educational institutions within the framework of the “Innovative School” project.

The Ministry of Science and Education told AZERTAC that for this purpose, ORT Israel, Israel’s largest school network, has prepared the relevant textbooks.

The mentioned materials cover topics such as entrepreneurial thinking, creative thinking and inculcating 21st century skills that will prepare students for the challenges of the future. Resources also include project-based assignments, team work, and individual work.

On September 4-8, “ORT Israel” specialists conducted a training for the principals and teaching staff of the schools where the pilot teaching of the subject of entrepreneurship will be conducted.

In the training, project-based teaching, teachers’ approach to students, encouragement of schoolchildren to creative thinking, teacher-student roles in the classroom and other topics were touched upon, practical tasks and interactive discussions were organized.
