Israeli Tech Startups Visit Azerbaijan

A meeting was held between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and representatives of the Israeli companies Fincom, Raycom, Cysourse and Sensorz, as well as the AnD Ventures venture fund.

AZERTAC was told by the agency that IRIA’s deputy chairman Inara Valiyeva, adviser to the chairman Shahin Aliyev, head of the International Business Development Department Loukas Tzitzis and head of Innovation Igor Ovcharenko participated in the meetings with the Israeli guests.

During the meeting, information was provided about the advantages created by the law on Technopark residency and Azerbaijan’s right choice to take advantage of the ICT potential of the Eurasian market. It was stated that with the support of IRIA, there are appropriate conditions for companies wishing to obtain residency rights to establish a branch or representative office in Azerbaijan.

During the meetings, the questions of representatives of Israeli companies about the potential of personnel in Azerbaijan and the available opportunities in the local and Eurasian ecosystem were also answered.

The Israeli delegation expressed their satisfaction with the familiarization with the general ICT environment of Azerbaijan and the positive business meetings.
