Israeli Teen Indicted for Alleged ISIS Ties, Terror Plot

Jerusalem, 30 March, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Israeli security forces arrested and indicted a 17-year-old Israeli-Arab who was planning a terror attack on behalf of Islamic State, it was cleared for publication on Sunday.

The suspect, a resident of the village of Jisr A-Zarqa was arrested on March 2.

According to the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), investigators uncovered documents in his possession detailing methods for manufacturing explosives. The suspect allegedly intended to carry out an attack and had pledged allegiance to ISIS.

Following the probe, the Haifa District Attorney’s Office filed an indictment against the minor, along with a request for his detention until the end of legal proceedings.

“The Israel Police, together with the General Security Service, will continue to act with determination and zero tolerance against any attempt to harm the citizens of the State of Israel. The arrest of the minor who planned to carry out an attack is the result of precise intelligence activity and a rapid response by the security forces,” the Police said.
