Life in Prison for Killer of Malachi Rosenfeld

Jerusalem, 22 January, 2017 (TPS) -- An IDF tribunal sentenced Hamas Abdallah Ashaak to life in prison plus 30 years for the 2015 murder of Malachi Rosenfeld. Ashaak was also ordered to pay NIS 325,000 ($85,500) in damages.

Rosenfeld was killed, and three others injured in a drive-by shooting in Samaria. Ashaak was convicted of one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder. He was arrested a week after the attack, in July 2015, and convicted a month later on August 8.
