MPs pass amendments to Law on Defense

80 MPs in the 120-seat Parliament on Sunday voted in favor of the amendments to the Law on Defense.

Earlier, Parliament voted 80-6 in favor of the Law on the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The amendments to the Law on the Council of Public Prosecutors was also passed at the same session with 73 votes in favor.

VMRO-DPMNE lawmakers were not present in the main hall while others were casting their votes on the laws.

Parliament’s 137th session is under way with its dissolution on the agenda ahead of the April early snap polls.
