Nikola Tsolov Wins Sixth Round of Formula 2 Season in Austria

Jerusalem, 28 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) -- Bulgarian racing driver Nikola Tsolov representing Campos Racing won the race in Austria, the sixth round of the Formula 2 season, on Sunday. The Sofia native started from third position, took the lead early on, and with exceptionally steady driving secured his third Sunday race victory of the season and his fourth win overall. Tsolov also won in Australia, Monaco, and now in Austria, with his other victory coming in the sprint race in Miami.

Right at the start, the Bulgarian managed to gain one position by passing (Rodin Motorsport), and a few turns later, he also passed his teammate Noel Leon to take the lead.

Tsolov finished first at the end of the 40 laps, ahead of Italian racer Gabriele Mini and German racer Oliver Goethe, both driving for MP Motorsport. With this victory, Tsolov earned 106 points and cut his deficit to Mini to just two points.
