Palestinian Stabs Man in Yavneh in Apparent Terror Attack
Jerusalem, 2 August, 2017 (TPS) -- A Palestinian resident of Hebron stabbed a 42-year-old man in the city of Yavneh Wednesday. Police said the suspect was arrested after being apprehended at the scene.
Magen David Adom officials said paramedics were called to the scene of the attack, which occurred shortly before noon, to administer first aid to the man, who had been stabbed in his upper body. The victim was taken to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot and listed in serious condition.
Police initially said they believed the incident was a criminal attack, rather than a nationalistic terror attack, but later said they were investigating “all possibilities” about the background of the attack.
