Palestinian Terror Suspects Arrested in Overnight Raids, Weapons Seized

Jerusalem, 24 March, 2024 (TPS) -- Israeli forces apprehended five wanted Palestinian terror suspects in arrest raids around Judea and Samaria on Saturday night, the Israel Defense Forces said on Sunday.

In one of the raids in the Bethlehem area, soldiers seized illegal weapons.

The counterterror operation came as Israel beefed up security during the Islamic month of Ramadan. In the last several years, Palestinian terror attacks have surged during Ramadan.

Israeli security forces have arrested more than 3,600 Palestinian terror suspects in Judea and Samaria since October 7, of whom around 1,600 are affiliated with Hamas.
