Qarabag Footballer Enters History of Azerbaijani Championships

Jerusalem, 5 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- (AZERTAC) – Qarabag football player Amin Rzayev became the youngest player in the current season’s Misli Premier League.

AZERTAC reports, citing the official website of the Professional Football League, that the defender, who appeared at the end of the XXXIII round home match against Sumgayit (2:0), made his debut at the age of 15 years and 204 days. Rzayev is the record holder for this indicator in the last 12 seasons.

He became the 6th player in the last 15 seasons to make his debut before turning 16. Since the 2010/2011 season, only two players have made their debut at a younger age. Budag Nasirov holds the absolute record during this period, with Anar Hasanov second.
