Security Forces Detain 24 Suspects Overnight in Judea, Samaria

Jerusalem, 26 February, 2018 (TPS) --
Security forces, including IDF, Shin Bet, Israel Police and Border Police troops, arrested nine Palestinians overnight between Sunday and Monday for rioting in Nebi Salah, a Palestinian village in the Ramallah area, the Shin Bet said in a statement Monday.  Palestinian media reported one of the arrested is the cousin of Ahed Tamimi, a 16-year-old Palestinian girl who was arrested two months ago for slapping an Israeli soldier. In addition, 16 people wanted for security offenses including involvement in terrorist activities and violent disturbances were also detained for questioning by security forces.

Security forces also raided the village of Ein-Yabrud, in the Ramallah area, and confiscated two weapons.
In Bethlehem, the forces seized thousands of shekels in cash believed to be intended to support terror activities.The military said the operation in Bethlehem was part of security forces’ extensive effort against funds devoted to support terrorist activities.
