Security Guard Attacked by Terrorist Has Died
Jerusalem, 18 August, 2024 (TPS) -- Beilinson Hospital in Tel Aviv confirmed Sunday evening that the security guard who was attacked by a hammer wielding terrorist in Samaria Sunday afternoon has died. The victim’s identity has not yet been revealed.
The security guard was at the Bar-On Industrial Park in the Kdumim region, northern Samaria, located to the west of Shechem (Nablus).
The terrorist also stole his gun.
The IDF said it is pursuing the terrorist.
A security official told The Press Service of Israel that the attacker is 21-year-old Sultan Nadal Abd-Aljani of Tulkarm. The local council confirmed that he was legally employed at a factory in the park.
“This is a 40-year-old wounded man who is suffering from bruises and severe head injuries,” said United Hatzalah paramedic Shiral Popkin.
“I gave him first aid in the factory yard with the help of a military doctor who evacuated him from the scene in an IDF armored vehicle.”
