IDF Nabs 25 Terror Suspects

Israeli forces on Sunday night carried out counterterrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria during which they arrested 25 terror operatives suspected of involvement in terrorist activities and violent disturbances against civilians and security forces.
The suspects were taken for questioning.

IDF soldiers on Saturday night arrested three suspects who illegally crossed the security fence in the southern Gaza Strip into Israel.
They were armed with a grenade and flammable materials.

IDF Forces Shoot Terrorist in Abu Dis

IDF troops on Wednesday night shot and wounded a terrorist who threw a firebomb at them.
The soldiers identified terrorists who threw Molotov cocktails and explosive devices at a military post in the village of Abu Dis, in the area of the Binyamin Regional Brigade. They fired at the lower body of the Molotov cocktail thrower and wounded him.

Amir Peretz Again Elected to Lead Labor Party

Member of Knesset Amir Peretz was again elected to lead Israel’s Labor Party.
Amir Peretz received 47 percent of the votes, Stav Shafir came in second with 26.9 percent of the votes, and Itzik Shmuly got 26.3 percent.
Voting turnout was 46 percent and approximately 30 thousand members of the Labor Party participated in the elections.
A Knesset member almost continuously since 1988, he has also served Minister of Defense and Minister of Environmental Protection.
Peretz was previously elected to lead Labor in November 2005.
IDF Arrests 22 Terrorism Suspects

Israeli forces on Monday night carried out counterterrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria during which they arrested 22 Arabs suspected of involvement in terrorist activities and violent disturbances against civilians and security forces.
The suspects were taken for questioning.
The forces also searched for weapons in the area of the Ephraim Region and seized a Carlo submachine gun.
