IDF Sends Armored Division to Gaza Border

The IDF on Sunday has announced it is dispatching the 7th Armored Division to the border with the Gaza Strip, as the rocket fire launched by Gaza-based terrorists continued to land on Israeli cities and towns throughout the south.
Terrorists launched over 430 rockets. The IDF has attacked over 220 terror targets.
Rocket Launched by Gazan Terrorists Explodes at Sea

Gazan terrorists on Monday night fired a rocket towards Israel. The rocket exploded in the sea, a fair distance from the coastal city of Ashdod, causing no injuries or damage.
Sirens did not go off, but the explosion was well heard throughout the city.
The IDF did not respond to the launch.
The launch is estimated to be a test, part of Hamas’ weapons development program.
Terrorist Wounded during Attack on Israelis

An Arab terrorist on Monday fired at a group of Israelis visiting the area of Tel Dotan in Samaria. IDF soldiers securing the visit fired back at the terrorist, seriously wounding him.
No Israelis were injured in the attack.
The terrorist was evacuated by an IDF medical team to an Israeli hospital.
Another terrorist reportedly fled the scene, and the IDF has launched a manhunt for him.
IDF Transferres 2 Released Syrians to Red Cross

UPDATE: The IDF stated Sunday that it has transferred the two Syrians released as a goodwill gesture to Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Red Cross at the Qunetra crossing on the border with Syria.
The two were released after Russia’s key role in the recovery and return of the remains of IDF MIA Sgt. Zachary Baumel.
Baumel went missing in 1982 during a battle in Lebanon 37 years ago. His remains were returned to Israel earlier this month.
The Russian army, together with the Syrians, found Baumel’s burial place.
Female Terrorist Arrested during Stabbing Attack

An Arab female terrorist was arrested on Wednesday at the A-Zaim checkpoint at the entrance to Jerusalem after she attempted to stab Israeli security personnel.
Security forces noticed the terrorist approaching them while wielding a knife. They called on her to stop, fired in the air and overpowered her.
No one was injured in the incident.
