IDF Exposes third Hezbollah attack tunnel

IDF forces on Tuesday exposed an attack tunnel dug by Hezbollah from Lebanon into Israel, as Operation Northern Shield entered its second week.

“The Lebanese government is responsible for digging the tunnels from Lebanese territory. This is a serious violation of Resolution 1701 and the sovereignty of the State of Israel.” the IDF said, “The route of the tunnel is under IDF control and poses no threat.”
“ The route, like the rest of the tracks, is trapped by the IDF and anyone who enters it on its Lebanese side endangers their life,” a statement added. 

Attempted ramming attacks in Hebron and Jordan Valley

Border Police officers fired at a Palestinian vehicle on Tuesday morning that was trying to ram security personnel  in the village of Idhna near Hebron in southern Judea. There were no casualties on the Israeli side, however Palestinian media reported that the terrorist was killed.

Meanwhile, at the same time, there was another attempted ramming attack in the northern Jordan Valley while security personnel  were demolishing  illegal structures. A vehicle appeared and tried to drive into security forces that were there. Forces responded by firing.

Shots fired at army post in Binyamin

Shots were fired at an army pillbox by the Bir Zeit bridge in western Binyamin shortly after 11 p.m. Monday night. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Oman to allow El Al to fly in its airspace

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu revealed this morning at a conference with ambassadors from foreign countries that Oman and “Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, will allow El Al to utilize the country’s airspace,” to shorten flight time from India.

The prime minister added that the relationship between Israel and the Gulf States is growing.

 

PM vows, no rest until ‘murderous criminals brought to justice.”

In the wake of Sunday night’s terrorist attack at the Ofra Junction in Samaria, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, “We will not rest until we find these murderous criminals and bring them to justice.”

He added that “everyone is praying for the recovery of a young mother who is fighting for her life, aso well as her baby. “We also wish a speedy recovery for all the wounded,” he said.
