An incendiary balloon landed in Be’er Sheva Monday night. Police said they believed the balloon was launched from the Gaza Strip some 45 kilometers south of the city.
IDF arrests Hamas-affiliated journalists for incitement to terror
The IDF has detained four journalists working for the Ramallah based Hamas-affiliated Palestinian Al-Quds TV network, which was designated a terrorist organization in September 2017. The four are suspected of incitement to terror and have been taken in for questioning. During the raid, which took place on Sunday night, security forces clashed with Palestinian rioters at three separate locations.

American ambassador visits terror victim’s family
US Ambassador David Friedman paid a visit to the family of Yotam Ovadia, who was stabbed and killed by a Palestinian terrorist in his home in Adam on Thursday night. “I was heartbroken to see the tragic impact of the murder of Yotam Ovadia – a young mother left alone to care for two small children, parents grieving for their only son. Words are insufficient to describe the evil and barbarity of the terrorist act,” Friedman said.
Security forces raid Hamas student cell in Hebron
During a Sunday night raid, security forces confiscated inciting materials belonging to the Hamas student cell in Hebron, which operates in universities throughout the city. The students as well as their families were also warned from engaging in further inciting activity.
