Sara Netanyahu Undergoes a Successful Appendectomy

Sara Netanyahu., Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife, last underwent a successful appendectomy at Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem on Thursday night.

Netanyahu is in good condition and is recovering in the surgery ward, the Prime Minister’s Office stated Friday.

The Prime Minister was with his wife until she was taken into the operating room.

“The Prime Minister and his wife would like to thank the many people, including numerous public figures – the President, ministers, MKs and the head of the opposition – who sent their best wishes for her recovery,” his office stated.

Sara Netanyahu Hospitalized with Appendicitis

Sara Netanyahu, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife, did not feel well on Wednesday night and was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem for an examination, during which she was diagnosed with Appendicitis, an inflammation in the appendix.

She was hospitalized for several days.

The Prime Minister’s Office said that Netanyahu accompanied her throughout the tests.

Israel Dispatching aid to Equatorial Guinea in wake of Massive Explosion

Israel’s Ministry of Health and the IDF are dispatching a medical delegation to Equatorial Guinea after a massive explosion at a military base in the Central African country that killed over 100 people and injured hundreds of others.

At the request of the National Security Council (NSC), the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the IDF, is sending a medical delegation to treat the victims of the disaster in Equatorial Guinea, the Ministry of Health announced Wednesday.

The delegation includes intensive care physicians, pediatricians and specialists from a variety of medical fields, and nurses and paramedics from hospitals throughout Israel.

The explosion in the port city of Bata on Sunday over 100 people and injured at least another 615.

President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo said in a statement that “Bata was the location of an accident caused by the negligence and carelessness of a unit charged with the care and protection of the stores of dynamite and explosives next to the ammunition at the Nkoantoma Military Base, which caught fire from the burning of nearby land by neighbors, causing an explosion in the dynamite and explosives store and subsequently the ammunition.”

Equatorial Guinea is one of Africa’s smallest countries, with some 850,000 residents, and Bata is one of the country’s two cities.

Israel regularly dispatches rescue delegations and aid to countries that have experienced disasters of various kinds.

IDF Shoots 2 Firebomb Throwing Terrorists in Gush Etzion

IDF forces identified and shot two Arab terrorists who were throwing firebombs at Israeli motorists on Route 60 between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion on Monday night.

The IDF stated that its forces identified two suspects throwing Molotov cocktails at Israeli vehicles passing on the route near the village of al-Khader in the Gush Etzion area.

IDF troops operating in the area initiated a suspect arrest procedure that included firing at the suspects.

Hits were identified, the IDF said.

The Palestinian Authority’s official WAFA news agency reported that one of the terrorists was shot in the foot and the other was seriously injured after being hit in the pelvis.

IDF Forces Thwart Stabbing Attack, Shoot Terrorist

IDF forces on an operation to arrest a wanted suspect in the Palestinian Authority city of Tubas on Sunday night were attacked by a knife-wielding terrorist and killed him.

The IDF stated that during an operation for the arrest of a wanted person in Tubas, in Samaria, a terrorist tried to stab one of the troops who was operating in the area.

The soldier pushed the terrorist away by force and a commander who was at the spot fired at the terrorist and severely injured him.

During the stabbing attempt, the soldier was lightly wounded in the hand and was treated on the spot.

The wanted suspect was arrested.
