Four Jews Arrested for Suspected Attacks Against Palestinians

Two Jewish teens, aged 16 and 17, and two adults were recently arrested and are suspected of attacks against Palestinians, the Judea and Samaria cleared for publication on Monday, April 11. The adults’ names, Shneur Dana and Pinchas Shandorfi, were also cleared for publication.

Dana is suspected of torching a Palestinian car, membership of an unlawful association and of conspiring to commit a crime. His Remand was extended until April 14, while the other three will remain in custody until April 18.

The adults and one of the minors were arrested on April 5, while the second minor was arrested on the morning of April 11.

IDF Seizes Weapons During Operations in Judea and Samaria

The IDF seized weapons in two separate operations, in Samaria and Judea respectively. In Jenin, a Palestinian city located in northern Samaria, an M16 rifle, 7 cartridges and separated weapons parts were seized.

Meanwhile, during the other operation near Hebron in the Judea region, the IDF seized a cartridge of a pistol along with a military vest.

Israeli Bus Hit by Rocks North of Jerusalem, Woman Treated for Shock

Rocks were thrown at an Israeli bus near the community of Adam around 8 p.m. in the Binyamin region, north of Jerusalem.

The rocks broke a bus window, and one of the passengers suffered from shock. She was treated at the scene.

Israel Electric Corporation Reaches Temporary Settlement With Palestinian Authority

The Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) reached a temporary settlement with the Palestinian Authority (PA) for unpaid debts in which the PA will transfer an immediate payment of NIS 20 million in turn for continued power. The IEC had reduced its power supply in the past week, to the PA controlled cities of Bethlehem and Jericho in light of the unpaid debts.

The IEC and PA have also agreed to negotiate the unpaid debt, however, the IEC is reportedly threatening to revert to reducing its power supply if no long-term settlement is reached.

Two Jews Arrested After Trying to Enter Temple Mount as Muslims

Two 21-year-old Jewish men were arrested at the entrance to the Temple Mount on Tuesday afternoon, April 5, after telling the policemen they were Muslims.

According to the Jerusalem police, the policemen suspected them and thouroughly checked them until they discovered the men were Jews. They were arrested and taken for questioning.

Muslims are allowed to enter the compound from 10 different gates and their access is relatively free, while Jews are only allowed in their holy site in certain hours and from one gate, under constant supervision and after a strict check.
