Second Stabbing Attack in Jerusalem Within Hours, One Wounded
In a second stabbing attack today in Jerusalem, a woman was stabbed and wounded at around 10:15 AM near the central bus station.
The woman, about 30 years of age and reportedly a Philippine citizen, sustained stab wounds in her back and was lightly to moderately wounded. The attack occurred next to a bus, and she was taken inside the bus to receive medical treatment, before being evacuated to Shaarei Tzedek hospital.
The attacker fled into a nearby construction site, which was put under lockdown. Police searched the area and apprehended a 17-year-old Palestinian who linked himself to the attack.
Stabbing Attack in Jerusalem’s Old City, One Wounded
A stabbing attack occurred sunday morning around 7:45 AM next to Damascus Gate.
An Israeli border police officer was wounded in the back of his neck, and was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in moderate condition.
The Palestinian attacker was Bassem Salah, 38, from Nablus, who was shot and killed by his victims. Another knife was found in his belongings.
Bus Overturns In Binyamin Region
A bus overturned in the Binyamin region between Rimonim and Cochav Hashachar. Approximately 40 soldiers are injured with varying degrees of intensity, and another 6 are trapped.
Reported Stabbing In Samaria
There was a reported stabbing in the town of Tapuach, located in Samaria. The terrorist was neutralized.
Stabbing Attack in Al-Fawwar Junction near Hebron, One Wounded
An Israeli soldier was stabbed shortly before noon in Al-Fawwar junction, in the Mount Hebron region.
He was stabbed in the neck by a Palestinian and was seriously wounded. He was evacuated to hospital, fully conscious but in an unstable condition.
The attacker was shot and neutralized.
