Female Soldier Lightly Injured during Counter-Terrorism Op
Israeli forces operating in the Palestinian Authority (PA) city of Qalqilya on Tuesday night exposed and confiscated a machine used for the illegal production of weapons.
Arab rioters attacked the forces with rocks and firebombs when they entered and exited the area, and the Israeli forces responded by using means to disperse demonstrations.
In recent years, Israeli forces have shut down dozens of weapons production plants in the Judea and Samaria regions and have seized thousands of illegal weapons.
IDF forces operating in Beit Omar in the Gush Etzion area seized ready-for-use firebombs and fireworks.
“We were given a significant task and performed it accurately and qualitatively. We will continue to do everything possible to keep the sector quiet,” an IDF officer stated.
In the Jericho area, a female soldier was injured by a rock thrown at her while she was conducting a counter-terrorism operation to locate illegal weapons.
Terrorists at the scene threw stones at the forces and burned tires, as a result of which the female soldier was lightly wounded with a suspicion of a concussion.
She was reportedly evacuated by helicopter.
UN Tractor Caught Dumping Waste at Illegal Site
A tractor owned by the United Nations (UN) was documented disposing of garbage at an illegal dumpsite near the Israeli community of Na’ale in the Benyamin region, the Regavim organization reported.
“The UN deals with environmental issues and takes pride in reducing pollution, so this kind of perversion can’t be tolerated. We shall be demanding answers,” Regavim stated Monday.
In a clip posted on Twitter, two Arabs are seen driving a tractor through the illegal site with the UN’s logo clearly displayed on it
The organization noted that throughout Judea and Samaria, there are hundreds of illegal garbage dumps used by the local Arab population.
Constant dumping and burning of waste cause damage to the environment.
“Environmental pollution transcends borders, politics, peace negotiations,” Regavim said.
IAF Bombs Hamas Targets in Gaza in Response to Rocket Attack
The Israeli Air Force (IAF) on Sunday night bombed several Hamas military targets in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket attack on Israel earlier in the evening.
Gaza-based terrorists launched a rocket at Israeli communities in the Strip’s vicinity. The rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system. Fragments of the intercepted rocket fell in the city of Sderot, damaging a car.
No one was injured in the attack.
The IDF stated that fighter jets attacked Hamas targets in the Strip, including a concrete production site used to build underground infrastructure and underground infrastructure.
The IDF “views all terrorist activities against Israeli territory with severity and will continue to act as necessary against attempts to harm Israeli civilians,” it stated.
“The Hamas terror organization bears responsibility for what is happening in and out of the Gaza Strip, and it will bear the consequences for terrorist operations against Israeli citizens,” the military added.
The last rocket attack from Gaza occurred three weeks ago.

Several Israelis Detained on Temple Mount Amid Tisha B’Av
Several Israelis were detained on the Temple Mount on Thursday as Israel marked the day of mourning of Tisha B’Av, on which the destruction of the two Temples is commemorated.
Hundreds of Israelis ascended to the holy site, the police enabling groups of 20 to enter every two minutes, as several hundred others waited for their turn amid the heat and high summer temperatures and while fasting.
At least 18 worshippers were detained for praying or prostrating themselves at the holy site, actions still deemed illegal for Jews at Judaism’s holiest site.
The detainees were released after their personal details were recorded. They may face legal action in the future.
The police also arrested several Muslims who reacted violently to the Jews’ visits at the holy site.
At the Kotel, the authorities limited the number of Israelis entering the site to 1,000 to enable them to maintain social distancing during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Kotel plaza is usually packed with tens of thousands of visitors on Tisha B’Av.
