4,500 Year Old Statue of Canaanite Goddess Anat

Jerusalem, 28 April, 2022 (TPS) -- The rare stone statue of Anat, the Canaanite goddess of love, beauty and war. The 22-centimeter (6.7-inch) statue, which dates back 4,500 years to around the year 2,500 BCE, was found by a local farmer while working his land in the Khan Yunis area of the southern Gaza Strip. It is now on display in Gaza.
