Netanyahu, Security Cabinet Tour Northern Border

Jerusalem, 25 December, 2018 (TPS) -- Prime Minister and Defense Minister Binyamin Netanyahu toured the Lebanese border Tuesday to review progress in Operation Northern Shield against Hezbollah;s cross-border attack tunnels. Netanyahu and the Security cabinet heard a briefing on the operation and the situation in Syria from Chief of Staff Gadi Eisencot.
“The IDF briefed us on its operations against the tunnels. The operation has mostly been completed.
“We have seen here outstanding work against Hezbollah’s tunnel weapon. It invested enormous resources and we have destroyed them,” Netanyahu said.
