A Girl in Gaza Studies the Koran

Jerusalem, 13 June, 2024 (TPS) -- Women and girls learn to recite verses from the Koran, Islam’s holy book, during a group class to memorize the scripture held in Deir el-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, ahead of the celebration of the Muslim holiday Eid al Adha (The Feast of the Sacrifice, also known as The Great Feast), that marks the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca.
