A Samaritan Sukkah – Which They Build Indoors

Jerusalem, 21 October, 2024 (TPS) -- The home of a Samaritan priest on Mount Gerizim in Samaria with its indoor Sukkah. Samaritans are said to be people who adopted many Jewish traditions when they migrated to the Holly Land a long time ago. While a Sukkah must be outdoors and under the sky, Samaritans moved theirs indoors because Arabs would destroy them if left outside.
