Jerusalem, 1 April, 2019 (TPS) -- Beresheet (Genesis), the first Israeli spacecraft to be sent to the moon, took a stunning photo of rain clouds above the Middle East and Israel.

the spacecraft on Monday successfully completed another maneuver in which the ship’s engines ran for 72 seconds.

The maneuver was made ahead of the “Lunar Capture,” a complex maneuver in which Berehseet will enter the moon’s gravity and orbit it before landing.

Beresheet is slated to touch down in the moon’s Sea of Tranquility on April 11.

If the mission is successful, the 160-kilogram unmanned four-legged spacecraft will be the smallest and cheapest spacecraft to land on the moon.
