Brit Milah of Son of Israeli Soldier Killed in Gaza

Jerusalem, 7 March, 2024 (TPS) -- The Brit Milah (ritual circumcision) of Amaziah Lober, the son of the late Staff Sergeant (res.) Elisha Yehonatan Lober who was killed fighting in Gaza during the war against the Hamas terrorist group.
His grandfather Hagai Lober, who served as the godfather (the person who holds the baby during the Brit Milah) said, “There is something symbolic in the fact that we are standing in front of the holy place for the people in a ceremony that symbolizes the covenant between us and God, and in the hope that this will also be the covenant that will unite all parts of the people in Jerusalem that are connected to it together. From this place, we seek to sympathize with the families of the abducted and feel their pain.”
