Jerusalem, 5 December, 2023 (TPS) -- Jerusalem gets ready for the upcoming holiday of Chanukah on Dec. 5, 2023. Donuts are a popular holiday food. The eight-day holiday begins Thursday at sundown. This year’s holiday comes amidst the backdrop of war and Israeli captives being held in Gaza.
