Gesher Benot Ya’akov (Daughters of Jacob Bridge) Over the Jordan River

Jerusalem, 1 February, 2024 (TPS) -- Gesher Benot Ya’akov (Daughters of Jacob Bridge) crosses the Jordan River north of the Kineret (Sea of Galilee) on the border between the Galilee and the Golan.
It was first built in the Middle Ageas and was rebuilt a number of times since.
The name came from a nearby nunnery and not the Biblical patriarch.
