Holocaust Survivor Lights Candle at Holocaust Remembrance Day Ceremony

Jerusalem, 27 April, 2022 (TPS) -- Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony for senior citizens and Holocaust survivors was held Wednesday morning in Kiryat Ono. Sephardic Jews in Arab countries were also victimized during the Holocaust. Haviva Kedmi lights a candle in memory of the Jews killed in the Farhud riots in Iraq in 1941. She was just 6 years old at the time and survived.
