Holocaust Survivors Treated to Beauty Queen Care

Jerusalem, 30 April, 2019 (TPS) -- Female Holocaust Survivors in Israel gathered at Bar Ilan University in Ramat Gan on Monday to attend the “Heroes of Beauty – Holocaust Survivors 2019,” a unique event in which they received treatments by beauticians, met with IDF soldiers and finally crowned one of them as Miss Holocaust Survivor, the beauty queen.

This is the seventh year this special event has taken place, just days before Israel will mark Yom HaShoah, it’s National Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The competition is organized by Yad Ezer L’Haver, Helping Hand for a Friend, an organization dedicated to assisting needy Holocaust survivors in Israel.
