Israel Defends Itself from Iranian Missile Attack

Jerusalem, 14 April, 2024 (TPS) -- Numerous Iranian drones and missiles fired at Israel in the early pre-dawn hours Sunday morning can be seen here shot down over the city of Rishon LeZion in central Israel by the country’s Iron Dome missile defense system. The vast majority of Iranian missiles and drones were shot down before they even entered Israeli air space and only 1% even landed.

Both the American and British militaries in the region aided in shooting down Iranian drones and missiles before they even reached Israeli skies.

The attack came as no surprise. Israel shut down its airport and its airspace in anticipation of it. They have since been reopened.
