Israel Inaugurates Tel Aviv Light Rail

Jerusalem, 17 August, 2023 (TPS) -- Israeli Prime Minister was presented with a toy light rail train during the ribbon cutting ceremony for Tel Aviv’s light rail system on Aug. 17, 2023. The 24 km Red Line, connecting Petah Tikva, Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak, Tel Aviv and Bat Yam, is the first of several light rail lines planned for the Greater Tel Aviv area. Photo by Yossi Zeliger/TPS
