Jerusalem Prepares for Sukkot

Jerusalem, 25 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem begin to build sukkot, or huts, on Sept. 25, 2025 as the Sukkot holiday approaches. Sukkot marks the harvest festival and also commemorates God’s Clouds of Glory, which protected the Hebrew nation during 40 years of wandering in the desert.
