Labor Party Leader Yair Golan Now Leads Newly formed ‘The Democrats’ Party

Jerusalem, 1 July, 2024 (TPS) -- Yair Golan, a former general and leader of Israel’s Labor Party, now leads the newly formed “The Democrats” Party. The party was formed Sunday when the Labor Party merged with its fellow left-wing Meretz Party.

Golan spoke at a meeting of the newly formed party held at the Knesset on Monday.
