Memorial Day Honor Guard

Jerusalem, 12 May, 2024 (TPS) -- A ceremony was held at the Kotel Plaza – the Western Wall – in the old City of Jerusalem to open the 24 hour period of national mourning on Yom Hazikaron, the Israeli Memorial Day. It was attended by the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, the IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, other dignitaries and a full military honor guard.
