Jerusalem, 28 November, 2018 (TPS) -- Prime Minister and Defense Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited on Tuesday the commando unit exercise together with IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot and other senior officials.

During the exercise, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu briefed the chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Eizenkot, the commander of the commando unit, Col. Kobi Heller, and other senior officials. Later Prime Minister Netanyahu held a discussion with the fighters participating in the exercise.
“The greatest correction to anti-Semitism is the State of Israel and the Israel Defense Forces. Once we were a leaf blown in the wind and could have massacred, today we have the power to react. On the eve of Chanukah, the spirit of the Maccabees is here – you are the Maccabees. We overcome our enemies with extraordinary strength and with an extraordinary spirit. I am proud of you. I believe in you and the people of Israel believe in you. Keep up to have success, guard the state, take care of yourself, and guard each other. ” said Netanyahu to the fighters.
